My name is Lisa Lutz, I am a self representing glass artist (SRA) working out of my home studio. I'm thrilled to be able to share my passion of handmade glass beads and jewelry design with you!
I am looking forward to getting back into the studio to work on some custom orders and some new designs for spring. I will try to list new items for sale weekly in my shop on Etsy.
I've always had my hand in something creative; I love to learn and experiment with new techniques. I have taken classes in wirework, ArtClay silver and metalsmithing. While looking for the "perfect" bead for my jewellery designs, I discovered an art form know as "lampwork". I now make these incredible handmade "lampwork" glass beads myself, using a specialized bench mounted torch and a kiln. My jewellery hobby has turned into a bead crazed obsession! I have been making my own lampwork glass beads for about 4 years now.
All of my glass beads go directly from flame to kiln where they are properly kiln annealed for strength and longevity. They are then properly cleaned with a Dremel diamond reamer. I use Italian, German and American Boutique glass....... My lampwork glass beads are unconditionally guaranteed. You can see some of my previous work on my gallery page.
